My (current) favorite protein drink recipe

This is my current favorite protein drink recipe, in case anyone wants to try it:

Ingredients:

  1. 1 scoop chocolate whey protein powder (I use  Muscle Tech – 100% Premium Whey Protein)
  2. 10 grams Hershey’s – Special Dark Cocoa Powder
  3. 1 cup skim milk
  4. 7 almods

Blend the above ingredients (I use Magic Bullet, but in any blender) with 2 ice cubes. YUMMY!

Nutritional values:

  • Calories : 280
  • Carbs : 26g
  • Protein : 31g
  • Fat : 7g
  • Sugar : 14g (none added, 12g coming from the milk)

  • Few things All these bnrads are packed with fillers so you do not even get the full amount of protein that is on the label, so highly doubt you will overdose because of the low absorption rate. Also if you are looking for quality protein, looking for the biggest bucket for the cheapest price is the worst idea, you get what you pay for when it comes to protein. They are all high in saturated fat and calories. Chck out Max Muscle’s Max Pro and Triple Whey proteins. Low calorie, fat and carb

  • Yes. We had the same question about our son for piunttg on weight. As long as you follow the instructions for the powder it should be okay.GNC is a great place to get your needs met, be sure to talk to the store employees there, they are knowledgable and will be able to help you find the right products for you. Be prepared to spend a lot of $ , some of the supplements are expensive.Be sure to eat other healthy foods, get those muscle building exercises in place and drink plenty of water.Good luck!
